OUR FOUNDER
Linda Augustsson, born and raised in Sweden, is the Creative Director and passionate soul behind Scarlett Poppies. Her love for design and sewing began at a young age, making a career in fashion seem destined. Over the past two decades, Linda has lived part-time in India, immersing herself in the textile industry while exploring the world and drawing inspiration from architecture, travel, and diverse cultures.
In 2002, Linda launched Continuum, a Buying and design agency that improved practices in the Indian garment industry. This experience inspired her to launch Scarlett Poppies in 2019, where she blends Scandinavian shapes with exquisite Indian fabrics and traditional embroidery techniques.
Each Scarlett Poppies garment reflects Linda’s passion for beautifully crafted clothing and the dedication of our talented artisans. For Linda, there is nothing more rewarding than seeing her designs come to life on women worldwide, as she believes in the profound impact of empowering women to feel confident and radiant in their own skin.
